Barbara (Voorhies) Ehle

Barbara J. Ehle died peacefully with her daughters at the bedside on the afternoon of October 10th, at the Cedars in Leo, Indiana. Her parents were Donald Voorhies and Lydia Burkholder. Her siblings (all deceased) included Don (Jake), Betty, Sharon and Lonnie. Barb was an active member in the Taylor Chapel Children’s Sunday school for many years. She loved gardening, canning and square dancing with friends. Her employment included working and managing various Hallmark stores and later in a bank. Her biggest achievement was exhibiting God’s love. 

She was a loving wife of nearly 70 years to Don and raising three daughters: Deb Fiedler(Mike Fiedler deceased). Brenda Tuttle (Stu Norton) and Karen (Dave Biederman.) Grandchildren 
include: Garth and Dane Fiedler, Jordan (deceased) and Ethan Tuttle, Cole and Kaille Biederman. Great Grandchildren-Dylan and Justin Fiedler, Aiden and Emmett Tuttle.

A memorial service will be held on October 27th, 2023 at Taylor Chapel Ministries, 10145 Maysville Road, Fort Wayne. Visitation will be from 10am-12pm with service starting at 12pm. Memorial donations may be made to The Cedars in Leo or Parkview Hospice.
