Anthony John Ybarra

Anthony John Ybarra, age 65, of Marion, died Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at the V.A. Hospital in Marion. Mr. Ybarra was born in Marion, Indiana on September 2, 1955 to the late Pascual and Virginia (Scott) Ybarra. He honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was an electrician and retired from Everett Electric in Fairmount. He married Sharon (Hill) Sexton on January 1, 1987 in Marion. 

Survivors include:
Wife, Sharon Ybarra of Marion.
Stepson, Chase Sexton of Marion.
Stepson, Eric and Karen Sexton of Marion.
Step granddaughters, Kaylee and Nathan Breeck and Elise Sanders.
Step great granddaughter, Hazely Cummings.
Brother, Pascual Ybarra of Marion.
Brother, Raymond and Susan Ybarra of Marion.
Several aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 6, 2021 from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM at the V.A. Medical Center Chapel, 1700 East 38th Street, Marion, Indiana followed by a funeral service at 12:30 PM in the chapel. 
Burial with military honors will take place at 1:00 PM at the Marion National Cemetery.
