Amy Lee (Day) Cressey, age 55, of Wolcottville, passed away January 24, 2026, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Amy was born in Angola, Indiana, on February 26, 1970, to David W. Day, Sr. and Bonnie L. (Emerick) Day. She graduated from Prairie Heights High School and was employed with Trine University. She married William Louis Cressey on April 1, 2000, at Community Baptist Church, Wolcottville.
Survivors include:
Husband, Bill Cressey of Wolcottville.
Stepdaughter, Amanda Cressey and her companion, Jason Clark both of Albion.
Son, Brian Cressey of Wolcottville.
Bonus daughter, Kaitlyn and Travis Olinske of Arcola.
Two grandchildren, Kourtney Rupert of Wolcottville and Thomas Clark of Albion; and bonus grandson, Jameson Olinske.
Mother, Bonnie Day of Stroh.
Brother, David Day, Jr. of Stroh.
Amy was preceded in death by her father, David Day, in 2017 and a stepson, William Louis Cressey, II in 1986.
Visitation and funeral services will be held Friday, January 30, 2026, at Liberty Freewill Baptist Church in Wolcottville. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM officiated by Pastor Billy Fields.
Burial will follow at Mount Pisgah Cemetery near Stroh.
