Jeanne,
I was shocked and deeply saddened by the news of Steve's passing. Altho we did fall out of contact after I left Lincoln, I will always remember Steve as a friend and mentor. The many years we worked together at CNA are left as fond memories. Steve was definitely one of the good guys, or, as my grandmother would say, a real mensch.

We knew Steve as one of our favorite neighbors from 1981-1984. I had a great deal of respect for Steve as a person, as a professional and for his game of tennis.

So very sorry to hear of Steve's passing. He was such a gentle man and I always looked forward to seeing him when he would visit the Westland office in San Diego. Heart felt sympathies.
