Stella Padgett-Berger

Stella Alaine Padgett-Berger, age 2, went home to Jesus on Thursday, August 24, 2017.  Stella was born on July 20, 2015 in Indianapolis to Kyle Barton Berger and Kyleigh Krysteen Padgett Berger.  

Two minutes. That is how long Stella Alaine was predicted by the best medical professionals to be on this Earth, but by the grace of God we were able to share 2 years, 1 month, and 4 days with our beautiful miracle girl. In her short life, Stella overcame numerous obstacles, surgeries, and medical conditions. Her first two hundred and thirty four days were spent at Riley Children's hospital before she was able to leave and begin a life at home. She exceeded the expectations of everyone and wore a contagious smile while doing so. She touched many lives and brought light to the darkest of hours. 

Stella, or Stellie Belle as she was called, loved to play with her older sister, make her daddy laugh, and give kisses to mommy.  Her favorite part of the day was bath time and being covered from her dark brown curly head to her perfect tiny toes in baby magic lotion. She loved to play with her toy piano and cuddle her special Willy worm. 

Stella is survived by her loving mommy and daddy, Kyleigh and Kyle Berger and big sister, Sophia Berger all of Huntertown.
Maternal grandparents are Ron and Stacy Padgett of Eaton, Indiana; Lori Norton and her companion, Mike Gaither both of Hartford City, Indiana.
Paternal grandparents, Robert and Pamela Berger of Fort Wayne.
Maternal great grandparents are Pat and Donna Norton of Hartford City; Don and Kathy Padgett of Liberty Center, Indiana. 
Paternal great grandmother, Lois Keener of Virginia.
Many aunts and uncles also survive.
She was preceded in death by her great grandmother, Judy Padgett. 

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 28, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Pathway Community Church, 11910 Shearwater Run, Fort Wayne. Pastor Tyler Ward will conduct the funeral service.
Visitation will take place prior to the funeral service from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the church. 
Memorial donations may be made to the family for various charities.
Arrangements entrusted to Northern Indiana Funeral Care of Fort Wayne.
