Kathleen Rose (Mendoza) Villareal

Kathleen Rose Villareal, age 72, of Fort Wayne, died Monday, December 30, 2019 at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.  Mrs. Villareal was born in Gary, Indiana on July 27, 1947 to Paul and Rose (Morfin) Mendoza.  She married Albert Gregory Villareal on March 16, 1967 at Fort Polk, Louisiana.  She was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant after 26 years of service.

Survivors include:
Husband, Albert Villareal of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Rachel (Robert) Rice of New Haven.
Son, Albert P. Villareal of Fort Wayne.
Granddaughters; Lisa (Tyler) Glass, Breann Kroeber, and Mia Villareal.
Sister, Patty (Dan) Gile of South Carolina.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, January 6, 2020 at 1:00 PM at St. Charles Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Road, Fort Wayne with visitation prior to the funeral mass from 9:30 AM – 12:45 PM. Fr. Thomas Shumaker will officiate the funeral mass. A luncheon will follow the funeral mass at 2:00 PM at the American Legion Post 47, 601 Reed Road, Fort Wayne.
Burial will take place Tuesday, January 7, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Marion National Cemetery. 
Memorial donations may be made to St. Charles Catholic Church or Parkview Hospice.
