Joseph William Marion, Jr., age 83, died Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Heritage Park Nursing Home in Fort Wayne. Mr. Marion was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on March 26, 1935 to the late Joseph W. Marion, Sr. and Gertrude (King) Vaughters. He married Donna Sue Ward on December 4, 1959 in Ashland, Kentucky. She preceded him in death on September 15, 2014. He was a United States Air Force veteran of the Korean War and was retired from Impire Detroit Steel in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was a member of Local 2116, United Steel Workers Union and Berean Baptist Church, Sciotoville, Ohio.

Survivors include:
Son, Jeffrey and Sandra Marion of Fort Wayne.
Son, Shawn and Dawn Marion of New Haven.
Daughter, Brenda Sue Bayer of Westchester, Ohio.
Five granddaughters, twin grandsons, one great grandson.
Brother, Charles and Wila Jean Marion of Sciotoville, Ohio.
Sister, Sharon and Floyd Ward of Wheelsburg, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Donna; sister, Judith Ann Pickelheimer; and granddaughter, Lauren Marion.

Memorial services will be held in Ohio at a later date.
