John Paul Jones

John Paul Jones, age 82, passed away Monday, December 16, 2019 at his residence in Fort Wayne.  Mr. Jones was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on January 7, 1937 to the late Robert Lee Jones and Florence (Berry) Jones.  He honorably served his country in the United States Air Force from 1956-1960. He taught religious education for many years at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church.

Survivors include:
Wife, Linda Jones of Fort Wayne.
Son, Mark Lawrence Jones of Franklin, Tennessee.
Daughter, Paula (Kyle) Hankins of Nashville, Tennessee.
Son, Brian Jones of Nokomis, Florida.
Daughter, Christine (Donald) Whalen of Annapolis, Maryland.
Six grandchildren: Madeline, Erin, Nicholas, Sydney, Jonathan, and Lily.
Sister, Christine Harrington of Chesapeake, Virginia.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, December 27, 2019 at 11:00AM at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church, 7815 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne with an hour of calling prior to the mass. Entombment will take place at Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
