Joe Hiatt Obituary

Joe Neal Hiatt, age 89, of Cromwell, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Center for Hospice Care in Elkhart, Indiana.  Mr. Hiatt was born on November 24, 1928, in Noblesville, Indiana to Henry Hiatt and Margaret Fisher.  He served his country honorably with the United States Navy.  On June 13, 1959, he married Annette Pearl Hiatt in Springfield, Tennessee.  Joe worked as a brick layer for 30 years.  He also worked for Coachmen for 20 years.  Joe loved  golf, bowling, and helicopters, He had a sweet tooth and enjoyed donuts and cake.  Joe loved to spend time with his family and loved ones.  
Survivors include:
Spouse, Annette Hiatt of Cromwell.
Daughter, Jeannette Montgomery of Cromwell.
Son, James and Constance Adams of Leesburg.
Grandchildren, Cody Freeman, Kaylie Adams, Lauren Adams, Luke Adams, and Shane Dawson.
Great-grandchildren, Isaiah Freeman, Isabel Freeman, Addyson Freeman, and one great-grandchild on the way.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, and 3 brothers, George, Tommy, and Ralph Hiatt.
Memorial service with military honors will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 2:00pm at American Legion Post #253, 756 South Main Street, North Webster, Indiana 46555.
Officiating the memorial service will be Pastor Gary Colby.
Memorial donations may be directed to University of Chicago MRSA Research Center.
