Ida M. (Rathert) Hartman

Ida Martha Hartman (Mart), age 99, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Hamilton Place Assisted Living.  Mrs. Hartman was born on February 24, 1918, in Fort Wayne to the late Fred and Leah (Wigent) Rathert.  On February 27, 1937, she married Arthur Hartman at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne.  Ida was a homemaker.  Together she and Arthur were very active within Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.  They volunteered and belonged in the Altar Guild at the church.  Together she and her husband were very active with the American Cancer Society for many years. 
Survivors include:
Nephew, Michael Loeffler of Fort Wayne.
Nephew, Steven Heaston of Columbia City.
Nephew, Bruce Heaston of Texas.
Several Great nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 11:00am with visitation one-hour prior from 10:00am-11:00am at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1636 St. Marys Ave, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46808.
Burial will take place at Concordia Cemetery.
Pastor Theodore Taykowski will be officiating the funeral service. 
Memorial Donations may be directed to the church and The American Cancer Society.
