Herbert Leo Heider, age 87, died Friday, July 7, 2017 at Woodview in Fort Wayne. Mr. Heider was born to Herman and Bessie (Gregory) Heider on February 14, 1930 in Columbus, Ohio and he was a veteran of the United States Air Force during the Korean War.
Survivors include:
Wife of 64 years, Marjorie Heider of Fort Wayne.
Son, Robert and Susan Heider of Indianapolis.
Daughter, Margie Rushton of Indianapolis.
Son, Herbert Lawrence Heider of Fort Wayne.
Four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Episcopal Church, 611 West Berry Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46802 with visitation an hour prior to the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either the Trinity Episcopal Church Choir, Southern Care Hospice or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
