Harry Neville, Jr. age 94, passed away August 14, 2018 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Mr. Neville was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 15, 1924 to Harry Neville, Sr. and Pearl (Hartman) Neville. He was a United States Navy WWII veteran honorably serving his country from 1943-1946. He married Deloris Claymiller on August 9, 1947 and she survives him. They were married 71 years. He retired from Western Electric after 37 years as a communications technician. Harry was a member of the Amvets Post 33, Waynedale, American Legion Post 241, Roanoke and VFW Post 1425, Waynedale. In the past, Harry was in charge of the Fort Wayne Satellites softball for the blind.
Survivors include:
Wife, Deloris Neville of Fort Wayne.
Son, Robert (Judy) Neville of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Karen Myers of Fort Wayne.
Son, Larry Neville of Fort Wayne.
Three grandchildren: Kika Neville (Shawn Wallace), Jennifer (Julien) Bellanger, and Chad Myers.
Four great grandchildren: Django Wallace, Alexandra Bellanger, Lucas Bellanger, and Leonardo Bellanger.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Martha Nichols.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Amvets Post 33, 6620 Koester Drive, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Burial with military honors will take place at Prairie Grove Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Heartland Hospice.
