Flora (Usher) Jones

Flora (Usher) Jones, age 99, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Lutheran Life Village at Pine Valley in Fort Wayne.  Mrs. Jones was born December 6, 1919 in Cluny, Alberta, Canada to Harold and Florence (Tabinor) Usher.  She married William F. Jones in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1949 and he preceded her in death January 19, 2005. She and Bill lived with their twin daughters in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan then later in Connecticut and Massachusetts before retiring to Homosassa, Florida.  She came to Fort Wayne in 2005.  

Survivors include:
Daughter, Patty Lutsch of Louisville, Kentucky.
Daughter, Deborah and John Baresic of Fort Wayne.
Four grandchildren: Katie Baresic White, Kevin (Elisa Salazar) Baresic, Brandon (Amberly) Lutsch, and Adam (girlfriend, Ana Reina) Lutsch. 
Five great grandchildren: Alaina, Cameron, Lucas White, Isaac White and Joseph Lutsch.

A celebration of life service will be held Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 11:30 AM at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 4700 Vance Avenue, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Visiting Nurse Hospice, 5910 Homestead Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46814 or the American Cancer Society.
