Donna Jean (Greenlee) Penrod

Donna Jean Penrod, age 94, of Columbia City, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at her residence.  Mrs. Penrod was born on September 15, 1923 in Gas City, Indiana to the late Glenn and Edythe (Longfellow) Greenlee.  She graduated from Gas City High School.  Donna married Garl E. Penrod on March 10, 1941 in Gas City.  She was a homemaker.  Donna loved to crotchet and sew.  She enjoyed cooking, baking, and fishing.  Donna was an avid card game fan and enjoyed scrabble.  
Survivors include:
Daughter, Glenda Walter of Elkhart.
Daughter, Beverly Voland of Columbia City.
Grandchildren, Michael (Beth) Barney, Cynthia (Tom) Carder, Rebecca (Scott) Davis, Vicki Martin, Karen (Lisa) Bennet-Voland, and Sonya Bontrager.
9 Great-grandchildren.
7 Great-great-grandchildren.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Emogene Davis, and brother, Willliam Greenlee.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 3:00pm with calling one hour prior from 2:00pm-3:00pm at New Hope Wesleyan, 971 North 400 West, Columbia City, Indiana 46725.
Burial will take place at a later date at Marion National Cemetery.
Officiating the funeral service will be Pastor Barry Faucett.
Memorial donations may be directed to Whitley County Parkview Hospice.
