Carolyn L. Parker, age 71, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Lutheran Life Villages in Fort Wayne. Mrs. Parker was born on July 9, 1946 in Muncie, Indiana to Clyde Parton and Arebella (Wright) Kreisler. She graduated from Muncie Central High School. Carolyn worked in soldering at Tuthill in Fort Wayne for 13 years. She loved socializing with friends and people. Carolyn was an avid Yahtzee player. She enjoyed baking and making homemade pumpkin pies from scratch. Carolyn was very family oriented and loved spending quality time with all her family.
Daughter, Sherry Whyte of Fort Wayne.
Son, Clyde and Kim Parker of Springfield, Missiouri.
Daughter, Teresa and Chris Shockley of Delphi, Indiana.
Daughter, Julie Stacy of Fort Wayne.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, and 1 great-grandchild, Maximus Jenkins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 9, 2018 from 3:00pm-7:00pm at Lutheran Life Villages, 6723 South Anthony Blvd, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46816
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 12:00pm with visitation one hour prior from 11:00am-12:00pm at Lutheran Life Villages.
Burial will take place at Prairie Grove Cemetery.
Officiating the services will be Pastor James Staton.
Memorial donations may be directed to March of Dimes.
