CHUNCHA CLARK, age 71, of Fort Wayne died on Monday, July 23, 2012 at Dupont Hospital in Fort Wayne. Mrs. Clark was born in Seoul, Korea on October 15, 1940. She married James R. Clark on October 30, 1970 at the United States Embassy in Seoul. Jim preceded her in death on February 13, 2011 after 41 years of marriage. Chunie was a homemaker who loved being outside working on her lawn and in her gardens. She was a self-taught Master Gardener. The beautiful gardens at her home was featured in the 2004 Botanical Gardens Walk.
Survivors include her step-children: James R. Clark, Jr. of Pensecola, Florida; Allan Clark of Rensselaer; Tanya Hammond of Fort Wayne. 8 step-grandchildren and 4 step-great grandchildren. Brother-in-law, Richard Clark of Wabash. Sister-in-law, Rowena Greer of North Manchester.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 27, 2012 at 11:00am in the chapel at Concordia Cemetery in Fort Wayne. There will be an hour of visitation for the family and friends of Chunie before the service. Officiating the funeral service will be her step-son, Pastor James Clark. Mausoleum entombment will follow to service Concordia Cemetery. Preferred memorials may be made to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
