RICHARD EARL FLEMING, age 59, of Fort Wayne died on Friday, June 1, 2012 at his daughter’s home.
He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 22, 1952 to Robert Fleming and Betty June (Spaulding) Fleming.
Richard honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He worked as an electrician throughout his adult life.
Survivors include:
His mother: Betty June Fleming of Cleveland, Ohio.
One son: Jonathan Fleming of Centerville, Michigan.
Two daughters: Jennifer Fleming of Fort Wayne and Jessica Fleming of Three Rivers, Michigan.
Seven grandchildren: Elijah Fleming, Christjen Barnes, Trinity Fleming, Davinity Fleming, Nixson Fleming, Lincoln Loftus and Olivia Underwood.
Five brothers: Alonzo Fleming, Cleveland, Ohio; Albert Fleming of Cleveland, Ohio; Edward Fleming of Cleveland, Ohio; William Fleming of Sturgis, Michigan; and David Fleming of Cleveland, Ohio.
Five sisters: Barbara Bryant of Constantine, Michigan; Donna Fleming of Cleveland, Ohio; Patty Fridley of Phoenix, Arizona; Debra Lipscomb of Lakewood, Ohio; and Margaret Fleming of West Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Jonathan Fleming and George Fleming.
A Memorial Service will be Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Foster Park, 3900 Old Mill Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46807.
