Ruth Gillespie, 85, passed away, November 12, 2015. Mrs. Gillespie was born in Jacksonville, Ohio in 1930. She worked many jobs, but will be remembered as a hairdresser and sales associates for A&S.
She was an avid reader, and loved working crossword and jigsaw puzzles. She also enjoyed traveling to Colgate University football games, vacationing in Wildwood Beach, New Jersey, and her more-recent bus trips across the United States. Most of all, she was a caring, loving mother to her sons, daughters-in-law, and four grandchildren.
Ruth is survived by sons, Bob (Maria) of Fort Wayne; Bill of Milwaukee, WI; and John (Lianna) of Lumberton, NJ, sister Bernice Shalega, Columbus,OH, and grandchildren, Sara, Sean, Ryan, and Derek.
She was preceded in death by husband, Charles, oldest son, Charles Jr., brother Bill, and sister Carol.
