Rafael Ernesto Garcia

Rafael Ernesto Garcia, age 81, of Fort Wayne passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at his residence.  Mr. Garcia was born on October 24, 1936 in Managua, Nicaragua to the late Ines Berrios and Rafaela Mercedes Garcia.  On November 17, 1962, he married Loida Rankin in Managua, Nicaragua.  He worked in the congress mail room in Washington D.C.  He was a member of 7th Day Adventist Church in Fort Wayne.  He was very dedicated to his church and enjoyed participating in the activities.  Rafael loved soccer and was a referee for Fifa.

Daughter, Nancy McMillen of Florida.
Daugther, Nelda and Brad McAllister of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Diana Hyde of Fort Wayne.
Granddaughter, Elizabeth Latham of Fort Wayne.
Granddaughter, Sammantha McAllister of Fort Wayne.
Grandson, Calvin McAllister of Fort Wayne.
Granddaughter, Emily McMillen of Florida.
Grandson, Christian McMillen of Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, grandson, David Latham, and son-in-law, Kelly Hyde.
