Mildred "Millie" (Braun) Sitcler

MILDRED “MILLIE” SITCLER, age 93, of Fort Wayne died on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at home with her family by her side.

Mrs. Sitcler was born in Fort Wayne on December 18, 1921 to Fred Braun and Johanna (Lichtsinn) Braun.

She married Oliver Sitcler Jr. on October 17, 1942 in Fort Wayne.  He preceded her in death on August 26, 2005.

Mrs. Sitcler was an active lifetime member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church (Soest) in Fort Wayne. 

Survivors include:

Daughter; Joyce Newman of Fort Wayne.
Grandson; Richard and Michelle Williams of Muncie.
Grandson; Scott and Kelly Williams of Huntsville, Alabama.
Granddaughter; Tamra and Damon Greeley of Fort Mill, South Carolina.
Grandson; Greg Sitcler of Fort Wayne.
Nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Oliver Sitcler Jr. in 2005 and her son; Stan Sitcler in 2011.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 3, 2015 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church (Soest), 9909 Wayne Trace, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46816.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Emmanuel Lutheran Church (Soest) in Fort Wayne.

Officiating the funeral service will be Rev. Kyle Krueger.

Burial will be at Emmanuel Lutheran Church (Soest) Cemetery in Fort Wayne.

Preferred memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association.
