Jude Allen Duncan

JUDE ALLEN DUNCAN, age 55, of Fort Wayne died on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at V.A. Northern Indiana Healthcare System, Marion, Indiana.  Mr. Duncan was born in San Angelo, Texas on December 28, 1960 to Robert Leo Duncan and Maria Delores (Martinez) Duncan.  Jude joined the military at the age of 18 and served in the United States Army for just over 2 years.  He loved his country and was grateful to the Veterans Administration Hospital in Marion for being there for him in his time of need.  Jude battled long and hard with C.O.P.D., cancer and drug addiction.  He loved cars, working on them or driving them fast.  He was a gentle soul that would do anything for you.  His dying wish was to pray for others battling these diseases and hoped to make a difference in the lives of addicts by writing a book about his own struggles.

Survivors include: 
Mother, Maria Duncan of Fort Wayne.
Brothers, Robert Duncan, Arthur Duncan, Charles Duncan, and Brian Duncan all of Fort Wayne.
Sisters, Georgina and Keith Jordan and Indiana Duncan both of Fort Wayne.
Sister, Gloria and David Williams of Clearwater, Florida.
Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Jude was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Duncan and a nephew, Alexander Sturdivant.

Burial with military honors will be held Friday, July 22, 2016 at 10:00 am at Marion National Cemetery.
