Joseph E. Nedved

Joseph E. Nedved, age 87, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Visiting Nurse Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.  Mr. Nedved was born on November 2, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Emil and Emily Nedved.  Joe served his country honorably with the United States Army during the Korean War.  On December 29, 1951, Joe married Dolores Nedved at Our lady of the Mount in Cicero, Illinois.  He worked as a Market Manager at Maywood certified grocery Stores until retiring.  Joe was a member at the American Legion in Willowsprings, Illinois.  He enjoyed stamp collecting, reading books, Texas Holdem/Poker, and was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan.  
Survivors include:
Spouse, Dolores Nedved of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Cathy Severson of Fort Wayne.
Son, Joseph Nedved of Bedford, Texas.
Son, Thomas and Carla Nedved of Elgin, Illinois.
Granddaughter, Anita NEdved of Rockford, Illinois.
Grandson, Joseph and Holly Nedved of Bedford, Texas.
Granddaughter, Brenda Nedved of Elgin, Illinois.
Granddaughter, Rachel Nedved of Elgin, Illinois.
Granddaughter, Amy Nedved of Elgin, Illinois.
Grandson, Kenneth Severson of Fort Wayne.
5 Great-grandchildren.  

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 4:00-8:00pm at Zarzycki Manor Chapels, 8999 South Archer Avenue, Willow Springs, IL 60480.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 11:00am at St. James at Sag Bridge Church, 10600 South Archer Avenue, Lemont, IL 60439.
Memorial donations may be directed to Visiting Nurse Hospice Home or the Kidney Foundation.
