JOHN HOLLAND, age 67, a resident of Fort Wayne the past seven years, died on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Genesis Healthcare Center in New Haven. Mr. Holland was born in Brooklyn, New York on January 27, 1948 to the late John and Ruth (Eriksson) Holland and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida by his grandmother. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise during the Vietnam War. John previously lived in Pinellas Park, Florida and worked as a welding contractor. He was a life member of the Pinallas Park V.F.W., Post 4364 and an avid fisherman.
Survivors include:
Daughter, Rhonda Kimble of Junction City, Kansas
Daughter, Tammy Holland of Pasco, Florida.
Daughter, Ginger Holland of Pasco, Florida.
Seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Two sisters, Ruth and Janey of Crystal River, Florida.
No funeral services scheduled.
Arrangements for cremation by Northern Indiana Funeral Care of Fort Wayne.
