General Hubert Junior Smith

GENERAL HUBERT JUNIOR SMITH, age 72, of Fort Wayne died on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Mr. Smith was born in Tazwell, Tennessee on March 6, 1943.  He was a retired security officer and enjoyed volunteering his time with the Waynedale Baptist Church and 3rd Street Church of God in Fort Wayne.  He was a member of the Waynedale Baptist Church in Fort Wayne.

Survivors include: 
Daughter, Becky and Brent Bolinger of New Haven.
Daughter, Christy Smith of Lakeland, Florida.
Son, Gene and Donna Smith of Fort Wayne.
Ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Long time companion, Linda Stanton of Fort Wayne.
Sister, Jeanette and Charles Daniels of Tazwell, Tennessee. 
Brother, Junior Hill of Kentucky.
Brother, Donnie and Mary Hill of Tazwell.
Brother, Jackie and Barbara Hill of Ewing, Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mollie Grace Smith and a brother, Ronnie Hill.

Visitation and funeral services will be Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the Waynedale Baptist Church, 633 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne.  Visitation will be from 11:00am until 1:00pm and the funeral service will begin at 1:00pm.

Officiating the funeral service will be Pastor Wayne Guillion.

Burial will be at Prairie Grove Cemetery in Waynedale.

Preferred memorials may be made to Waynedale Baptist Church.
