CHARLES EARL COE, age 61, of rural Leo, died on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana following a 3 ½ year battle with cancer. Charlie was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on June 16, 1953 to Gene Earl "Jack" Coe and Bonnie (Smith) Coe Barrett. He married Teri Lynn Richman on October 19, 1974 at the St. Joseph United Methodist Church in Fort Wayne. Charlie was a semi truck driver for USF Holland. He loved his street rod, going to car shows, NASCAR racing, shooting pool, and collecting trains. He was a proud member of the Teamster's Union 414 and Son's of the American Legion Post 409, the Goodguys Rod and Custom Association, and the National Street Rod Association.

His wife of 40 years, Teri Coe of Leo.
Daughter, Stephanie and Tim Collins of Leo.
Daughter, Victoria and Justin Omo of Fort Wayne.
Son, Brian Coe of Fort Wayne.
Three grandchildren: Gracie and Lily Kunkel, Preston Collins and waiting for the arrival of granddaughter, Everly Omo.
Mother, Bonnie and James Barrett of Haines City, Florida.
Brother, Dan and Sandra Coe of Las Cruses, New Mexico.
Brothers-in-law: Craig and Mary Richman, Curt and Jennifer Richman, and Phil Richman.
Three nephews: Shawn Coe, James Richman, and Nathan Richman.
One niece, Molly Richman.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1999.
Funeral services and visitation will be Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Concordia Seminary, 6600 North Clinton Street, Fort Wayne. Visitation will be held in the Student Commons from 12:00-3:00pm and the funeral service will be held in the adjacent Sihler Auditorium at 3:00pm with Stephen Wright officiating.
Burial will be at Schlatter Cemetery on Schlatter Road near Leo, Indiana.
Preferred memorials may be made to Cancer Services of Fort Wayne or to the family.
