Celia J (Brown) Vaughn

Celia J. Vaughn, age 67, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.  Mrs. Vaughn was born on August 25, 1949 in Uniontown, Alabama to the late Sidney Fitts and Alice (Hamond) Brown.  She attended R.C. Hatch High School in Alabama.  She married the love of her life Burrell Vaughn in Fort Wayne and was happily married for 30 years.  Celia worked for the Towne House nursing home and assisted living in Fort Wayne as a housekeeper.  She loved to cook, clean, and spend time in the casino.

Sister, Janice Catlin of Uniontown, Alabama.
Sister, Marcella Banks of Uniontown.
Sister, Carmela and Winston Howards of Faundale, Alabama.
Sister, Julia Brown of Uniontown.
Brother, Rev. Morries Brown of Uniontown.
Brother, Vincent Brown of Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Brother, Emanuel and Angela Brown of Lima, Ohio.
Brother, Tonja Hamon of Uniontown. 
Special Nieces Monica Brown and Shinya Hines of Fort Wayne.
Sister-in-law, Georgiana Vaughn of Fort Wayne.

A gathering of family and friends will take place on Friday, October 14, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Avalon Missionary Church (West Chapel), 1500 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana. 
Services will be held in Alabama at a later date.
