Barbaralynn (Calabro) Richards

Barbaralynn Richards, age 62, of Fort Wayne, passed away on January 16, 2016 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.  Mrs. Richards was born on November 24, 1953 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Joseph Calabro and Rose T. Calabro (Sands).  Barbara graduated from Pitman High School in Pitman, New Jersey and obtained a Bachelor Degree from Northeastern Bible College in Essex Fells, New Jersey.  She married Tyler C. Richards on December 18, 1976 in Essex Fells, New Jersey.  Barbara taught Sunday school and participated in many youth group activities at Immanuel Baptist Church in Fort Wayne.  She enjoyed reading, cooking, and being a student of the bible.  She concentrated much of her life on her children and their schooling, church activities and spending time with them.

Survivors include:
Husband, Tyler Curtis Richards of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Tyla and Derek Dewey of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Tara Richards of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Treasa Richards of Fort Wayne.
Grandson, Taylor Richards of Fort Wayne.
Grandson, Damon Dewey of Fort Wayne.
Grandson, Jackson Richhart of Fort Wayne.
Brother, Joseph and Nancy Calabro of Franklinville, New Jersey.
Barbara was preceded in death by her mother.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 from 12:00pm-2:00pm at Aboite Baptist Church 5700 Homestead Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46814.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday January 23, 2016 at 2:30pm at Aboite Baptist Church.
Officiating the funeral service will be Pastor Brad McGuire.
Memorial contributions may be directed to American Cancer Society and or International Myeloma Foundation.
