Barbara Jean (Sowles) Snyder

Barbara Jean Snyder, age 62, of New Haven, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Parkview Randalia in Fort Wayne.  Mrs. Snyder was born on March 17, 1955 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Oscar and Annabelle Sowles.  She graduated from South Side High School in Fort Wayne.  On March 17, 1975, she married Chuck Snyder in Fort Wayne.  Barbara worked in health care and was a CNA at Byron Health Center as well as a Home Health Caregiver.  She enjoyed fishing, camping, and playing online games.  
Survivors include:
Spouse, Chuck Snyder of New Haven.
Son, David and Katrina Snyder of New Haven.
Son, Daniel Snyder of New Haven.
Son, Michael Snyder of New Haven.
16 Grandchildren.
5 Great-grandchildren.
Brother, Richard Sowles of Indianapolis.
Sister, Patty Zumalt of Fort Wayne.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter; Brianna Snyder, daughter-in-law; Mindy Snyder, and 2 brothers; Donald and Emmit Sowles.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 11:00am with calling one-hour prior from 10:00-11:00am at First Baptist Church, 1716 Werling Road, New Haven, Indiana 46774.
Burial will take place at I.O.O.F Cemetery in New Haven.
Officiating the services will be Pastor David Trimble.
