Barbara (Bracht) Ginter

Barbara Juanita Ginter, age 83, of Fort Wayne, died Monday, June 12, 2017 at Laurels of Dekalb in Butler.  Mrs. Ginter was born June 18, 1933 in Craigville, Indiana to the late Irvin and Inez Marie (Meyers) Bracht.  She graduated from Bluffton High School in 1951 and married Benjamin Jasper Ginter on December 20, 1952 at the Poneto United Methodist Church in Poneto, Indiana.  She was a Licensed Practical Nurse for 15 years at Meadowvale Nursing Home in Bluffton before retiring in 1995.

Survivors include:
Daughter, Deborah Cheney of Gulf Shores, Alabama.
Daughter, Teresa and Rudi Rosinski of Hamilton. 
Daughter, Brenda and Frank Kaccmarek of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Son, Brian and Noni Ginter of Bluffton.
7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Sister, Rebecca and Richard Dirrig of Auburn.
Brother, Richard and Judy Bracht of Willimington, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ben, who died in 2010; and a brother, Roger Bracht. 

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 16, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Poneto United Methodist Church, 36 East Walnut Street, Poneto, Indiana with calling one hour prior to the service. Pastor Roy Nevil and Pastor Kris McPherson will officiate the funeral service. 
Burial will take place at Grove Cemetery. Her late husband, Benjamin will be laid to rest along with Barbara and military honors will be given in memory of his military service to our country. 
Memorial donations may be made to Poneto United Methodist Church or to Heartland Hospice.
